I was deliberating on whether to do a 'June Favourites' post but as I have been forcing myself to do a weekly rotation of the products in my makeup bag (with exception to my base products) I don't really have any products I couldn't leave alone but there are a few I'm finding hard to put away.

First up we have the beautiful Stila Field Of Florals Palette £30, I wanted this palette ever since I saw it's release in the US and it was so worth the wait. Even the shades I thought would not work on my fairly pale complexion sheer out to a beautiful wash of colour. Cream blushers are my favourite and with the huge variety of shades in this palette it's a true space saver in your makeup bag.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer has been my favourite primer over the last couple of weeks, I had completely forgotten what a pleasure it is to use. This cooling gel primer doesn't do an amazing job of concealing pores or blurring lines but it does give my base a glowing finish and keeps everything in place all day, perfect for the summer.

Clinique's Nude Pop Cheek Pop blusher unfortunately isn't available in the UK so I won't go on about it too much but I will say now I'm sporting more of a bronzed look it's perfect for that barely there makeup look.

Ok so NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder £26.50 hasn't just recently been a favourite of mine but it is one that I'm really starting to appreciate more now the warm weather is here. This powder keeps everything in place all day without that obvious powder finish to your skin, I adore this stuff!

Another product that has been a favourite for a while and an absolute godsend in this weather is Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade £15, this stuff really doesn't fade or budge. I'd recently discovered the product was starting to dry up and really didn't want to part with it so I placed a drop of baby oil in and voila it's totally revived!

I'd recently ran out of my favourite Lancome Hypnose mascara and rather than rushing out for a new one I though I'd try some of the mascara's in my stash waiting to be used. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara £19 has been a pleasant surprise, I initially thought it wouldn't be all that as the brush on the wand is quite big but it does an amazing job of separating and lengthening lashes.

Stila Field Of Florals Convertible Colour Palette £30

You know when makeup companies bring out a product in the U.S and annoyingly either don't make it available here in the UK for ages or sometimes not at all and you have to bitterly read others blog posts on it until you can get your hands on it? This was that product. I spotted this palette was released in the U.S back in February and after emailing/tweeting/posting on Facebook asking Stila when/if it would be available in the UK and not receiving a reply I had given up all hope of owning it. Much to my delight I got my hands on it a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you it was so worth the wait!

Field Of Florals Convertible Colour Dual Lip & Cheek Palette is (apart from being a mouthful!) the most beautiful palette of both muted shades and brights that as the title indicates can be used on either your cheeks or lips. I do already own four of the full size dual lip and cheek colours and they are ranked amongst the highest in my cream blush collection. If you haven't tried Stila's Convertible Colour's then you really are missing out as these aren't your traditional cream blush, although the shades can seem a little intimidating in the pan when applied to your cheeks/lips they offer a sheer wash of colour and a dewy finish. 

The shades included in this aptly named palette (from top left) are- Lillium, Magnolia, Tulip, Camellia, Peony, Rose, Gladiola, Peach Blossom, Hibiscus, Gerbera, Petunia and Fuchsia. Tulip was one of my most worn shades over the winter and Hibiscus is one of my all time favourites. 

If you're looking for a multi use palette that gives a fresh wash of colour then this one comes highly recommended by me.

I have to admit that when I opened my box I felt a little underwhelmed by it's contents but the products all are things I will use, with the exception of the lipgloss (not worn lipgloss since I was 12!) and the pilates band. Not a bad box to start the year with, I'm looking forward to giving it all a go.

Stila Convertible Colour - Gerbera

If you happen to stop by my blog regularly then you'll already know I have real soft spot for blushers, especially the cream variety. Stila's Convertible Colour's are some of the finest cream blushers I own and the gorgeous shade Gerbera is a beautiful rosy peach colour that looks great on all skin tones. 

I've done a couple of posts on these versatile little beauties and I have to say Gerbera is my new favourite shade, it's the perfect amount of peach and pink leaving cheeks with a healthy flush of colour.

R Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge Fresh Melon

Upon playing with my new favourite shade I discovered it's quite similar to Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge in Fresh Melon, Gerbera being a little brighter and less peach in tone but very similar none the less. I love the finish of Stila's Convertible Colour's, they leave a gorgeous sheen that enhances the healthy glow the colour gives.

This shade looks lovely on cheeks, I did find it a little more difficult to work with on lips as it's a lighter shade, I found a little lip balm on first and then working into lips with your fingers works best. As with all my cream blushers I like to apply with my fingers first and then buff with my Real Techniques buffing brush for a flawless finish. 

Stila Convertible Colour in Tulip

I said to myself I wasn't going to buy and more berry-toned products as I have more than enough to see me through this and the next 5 winters, but who was I kidding, I knew I would cave in and buy more! Today I bring to you the gorgeous Convertible Lip & Cheek Colour in Tulip £16 rrp from Stila. I only have one other of these multipurpose beauties from Stila, in the shade Petunia and it was my go-to product over the summer for it's ease of use and beautiful finish.

Tulip is an extremely wearable berry shade that looks just gorgeous on lips and gives a lovely wash of build able colour to your cheeks. Although Stila advise to apply to cheeks with a stiff brush I like to apply lightly to cheeks with my finger and blend with a buffing brush.

The finish on your cheeks is a glowy sheen and on lips a juicy punch of colour. You may want to apply to lips with a brush as I did find it stained ever so slightly when applied with my finger, but this was probably more to do with the fact I was swirling my finger around in the product quite a bit to build intensity and blend. 

I love everything about Stila's Convertible Lip & Cheek colour's, from the cute packaging to the very generous 32g's of product.

Stila Convertible Blush in Petunia

It's been over a week since my last post, I would apologise but my lack of blogging has mostly been due to this gorgeous weather! So today I'm doing a quick review on a gorgeous lip and cheek product from Stila, Convertible Blush in Petunia rrp £16. I'm a huge fan of multi-purpose products at this time of the year, anything that can save space in your bag when you're off to the beach or off to the pub with friends is a big winner for me.  Stila's Convertible blush is described as a cream blusher, I wouldn't say it's quite a cream blush, it leaves a lovely dewy glow on the skin whether that be on lips or cheeks. I like to apply with my finger and gently buff into skin with a buffing brush. Petunia is a very flattering bright pink, although it looks quite bright in the pan it does blend into a gorgeous flush of colour.

I will say that if you favour a more heavy foundation you may find this will not blend so well and can leave your base looking a little blotchy. I have found it looks best when (I'm having a good skin day!) wearing a lighter foundation or tinted moisturiser.

I've been wearing this blush almost everyday since buying it, I can see it being my favourite this summer. It's just the right amount of colour to perk up your complexion without looking too 'done' in this hot weather.
